If you’re in need of a quick and easy scarf pattern and you want to try out the trendy and classic Fisherman’s Rib, Caley is the scarf for you. The vertical stripes and two-color rib that’s reversible is easy to love and easy to knit while watching TV.

The scarf is worked flat with two different colours of bulky yarn, though, please note that it does need either double-pointed needles or a circular needle to do the Fisherman’s Rib worked flat.
This pattern uses only written instructions This pattern also has an accessible large print option that is compatible with screen-reading software.
Sizes Available: One, Adjustable.
Sample measures 9 inches (23 cm) by 42 inches (106.5 cm)
Materials Required:
Pattern uses 284 yards; 260 meters of bulky weight yarn and is shown in *Knit Picks Wonderfluff in 'Finnley Heather' and 'Atlantic Heather.' It uses 142 yards;130 meters of each colour.
Needles:
5.5 mm (US 9) *circular needles or *double pointed needles for working Fisherman's Rib
Notions:
Gauge For Pattern:
• 22 sts and 38 Rows = 4 inches (10 cm) square in stocking stitch after blocking
Please note that gauge is somewhat flexible for this pattern, though changes in gauge will change the appearance and/or size of the finished object. Also, the sample was knit using almost all of the skeins of recommended yarns. If you are a loose knitter, or are enlarging the pattern in any way, you may need more yarn.
